A St. Thomas teacher has been arrested by Elgin County OPP and is facing charges of sexual exploitation and assault.
The man was arrested after police received a complaint from a student in regards to an incident that allegedly occurred off school property over the Christmas holidays at a residence southeast of St. Thomas in Central Elgin on Dec. 29.
Roger Reid, of Central Elgin, who currently works at Arthur Voaden Secondary School in St. Thomas, was arrested and charged Jan. 6 and is slated to appear in St. Thomas court on Jan. 26. (more...)
