Psychotherapy or Psychopathology?

There are therapists who specialize in treating individuals with characterological disorders who are realistic about the prognosis and, depending on the severity of the case and commitment to change, can help an individual with these problems, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, develop better impulse control, reality testing and how to consider other's feelings and needs if only to avoid the consequences of not doing so (e.g., the loss of an important relationship).

Then there are therapists who can best be described as BPD enablers and apologists. They tell the BPD individual and her or his significant other, who is often on the receiving end of tremendous emotional, psychological, financial and/or physical abuse, that the BPD's partner must learn to practice "radical acceptance" because the individual with BPD can't control themselves and doesn't know what they're doing. They insist that the BPD’s victims need to be more understanding and empathetic of their abuser's pain.

Unfortunately, a lot of these therapists provide services to those seeking marriage and family therapy, and it appears the bad ones far outnumber the good ones.

This attitude toward BPD individuals as victims, even when they're perpetrating egregious abuse, is also rampant on a number of support sites that supposedly exist as resources for men and women who are being abused by spouses, boyfriends/girlfriends, friends and family members with BPD.

They are quite literally sending the message that the victims of personality disordered abusers need to react that that abuse by making themselves vulnerable to more of the same.

There is very little open discussion of just how dangerous these therapists and “support groups” are to the victims of personality disordered abusers. It is important for people to know how to spot this problem in professionals, and in supposed support groups. It is the only chance they have of obtaining help from people who are actually interested in ending abuse rather than perpetuating it.

TDSB question ex-chair Chris Bolton’s role in Vietnam school deal

Trustees of Canada’s largest school board met privately with senior staff to demand answers about who led the negotiations on a new international agreement and what role former chair Chris Bolton played.

Questions by Toronto District School Board trustees centred on a consulting contract with a private school in Vietnam that teaches the Ontario curriculum. Trustees repeatedly asked who led the talks, why Mr. Bolton was at the Vietnam school in June and whether he accepted a job as chief executive officer of the school before resigning as chair of the TDSB, according to a number of trustees who were at the meeting.

Mr. Bolton abruptly left the school board last month after revelations by The Globe and Mail that he directed donations for a Toronto elementary school to his own charity. Mr. Bolton has not returned several e-mails and telephone messages from The Globe. He told The Toronto Star he has signed an offer of employment at the Vietnam school, but is awaiting a firm contract before moving overseas.  (more...)

EXPOSING THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PLANNED PARENTHOOD, THE NATIONAL ABORTION FEDERATION AND MEN WHO SEXUALLY ABUSE UNDERAGE GIRLS

For several years Life Dynamics has been conducting an investigation into the issue of teen pregnancy. What we have found can only be described as sickening. Underage girls, some as young as 10 years old, are being sexually exploited by adult men in numbers that are unprecedented in American history.

According to the most reliable studies, among girls 15 and younger who become pregnant, between 60 and 80 percent of them are impregnated by adult men.

We have also uncovered data showing that as the age of the victim goes down, the age of the perpetrator goes up.

In America today, we have reached the point where a junior high school girl is more likely to become pregnant by an adult than by someone close to her own age.

One study concluded that the average age of men who father children with girls under 14 is now higher than the average age of men who father children with 18-year-olds.

By almost any standard, our country is experiencing an epidemic of child sexual abuse.  (more...)

Mario Castellano, Member of the Troika, Which
Oversees The Franciscans of the Immaculatee
(Rome) A year ago, on 29 July 2013, the provisional government of the Franciscans of the Immaculate (FI) was announced.  Nine days before, Katholisches.info had just reported on the opening of a new monastery that the Order was still in flower. The decree of the Congregation of Religious was signed with the approval of Pope Francis on July 11th.  Since August 11, the Order has been prohibited the celebration in the traditional form of the Roman rite. Its fate now lies in the hands of a triumvirate: which was set up by the Congregation of Religious' Apostolic Commissioner Father Fidenzio Volpi, OFM Cap, the Franciscan "parricide" Father Alfonso Bruno (FI) and a hitherto barely visible, but the more active eccentric figure, who was active as a consultant with the criminal action against the Order: "Professor" Mario Castellano. Who is Mario Castellano? This question was asked by Emmanuele Barbieri for Corrispondenza Romana. What he was doing is astonishing as  summarized here.  (more...)

Fr. Michael Maginot, Exorcist; Bob Cranmer, The Demon of Brownsville Road

Christine Niles welcomes Fr. Michael Maginot, the exorcist in the famous Ammon family case, which involved phenomena witnessed by hospital staff, including the son walking backwards up the wall and the daughter levitating. In the second segment, Christine welcomes Bob Cranmer to the show, author of The Demon of Brownsville Road, to talk about the demonic infestation of his 100-year-old Pennsylvania home, which was a former abortuary. It took a team of exorcists two years to finally rid the home of evil--and in the process, Mr. Cranmer became a Catholic.

Still Protecting the Pope: The Obstinate Champions of Catholic Truth

In three months time a couple of hundred bishops, cardinals and lay experts from around the world will convene in Rome to take part in the Extraordinary Synod on the “pastoral challenges to the family in the context of evangelisation”. I must admit that, along with many other faithful Catholics, I view this prospect with a sense of growing concern. This is not a theoretical or academic concern, but a very personal concern that involves my life and important decisions I’ve made.

Like many other faithful Catholics I’ve been convinced by what the Church teaches about divorce and re-marriage, IVF, contraception, euthanasia, and countless other moral teachings.  And with the minority of Catholics who remain faithful to the fullness of the Church’s teaching I have made life-changing decisions based on the assumption that the Church would forever stand by these categorical moral truths, because they are founded on ‘God’s message and not some human thinking’ (I Thess 2:13). I follow the Church’s moral teaching because great teachers throughout her history, and recently St John Paul II and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, have taught me that it expresses divine truths that liberate me from sin, save me from hell, and enable me to live as a child of God.

The source of my growing concern is the persistent report that the Synod may consider changing one of the Church’s categorical moral teachings that divorced and re-married Catholics cannot receive Holy Communion. This is one of the fixed moral compass points of Catholic morality that can be traced all the way back to the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ that those who divorce and re-marry commit adultery (Mark 10:11-12). This is divine truth and not some human thinking and no synod, cardinal, bishop or theologian can change this.  (more...)

70 Percent Of Child Sex Trafficking Victims Are Sold Online

In 2014, buying a child for sex online can be just as easy as selling your old couch or posting an updated resume.

Astonishing statistics dug up by Thorn, an agency that studies technology's role in sex trafficking, found that sites like Craigslist are often used as tools for conducting business within the industry. Incredibly, 70 percent of child sex trafficking survivors surveyed by Thorn were at some point sold online.

"People are posted and sold online multiple times a day," Asia, a survivor of sex trafficking, told Thorn. "As far as the ad that was posted up [for me]… just [like] you can go find a car, there was a picture, and a description, and a price."

At least 105,000 children in the U.S. are being sexually exploited, according to the Department of Justice and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the expanding underground industry has no intention of slowing down. The FBI considers sex trafficking the fastest-growing organized crime, and online channels allowing for the exploitation are only making it easier for predators to do business. NPR reported in March that the Justice Department believes child sex trafficking could generate a staggering $32 billion a year.  (more...)

An Australian doctor questions "safe school" and"gay-straight alliance" programs

An open letter to the Australian Education Minister

The Hon Christopher Pyne
Minister for Education
Dear Mr Pyne,

I trust you, or your advisors, will give serious consideration to the medical evidence below and reconsider your decision to fund the so-called Safe Schools programme throughout Australia.

The political justification for ‘Safe Schools’ programmes, or the associated ‘Gay-Straight Alliances’, is that there is a plague of gay-based bullying in our schools, and the only way to counter that is through celebrating homosexuality. That justification, however, is doubtful.  (more...)

Pennsylvania near top of list for teacher impropriety

Claims of inappropriate relationships, sex abuse and misconduct filed against Pennsylvania school teachers are on track to double in less than a year, state officials say.

Second only to Texas, Pennsylvania and California each logged at least 24 cases of teacher sex crimes this year, according to news reports tracked by Terry Abbott, chairman of Houston-based Drive West Communications.
Nationally, “we've followed 416 (sex abuse) cases just since January,” Abbott said. “It's an enormous problem all across the country, and Pennsylvania's at the top of it. This isn't a list you want to lead.”

State attorneys logged 450 complaints against teachers this year, ranging from benign arguments to criminal allegations. The state Department of Education recorded 482 during 2013.

Of those, about 100 resulted in official action that year, through public reprimand or suspension or revocation of a teacher's license. Allegations ranged from drunken driving and drug possession to prolonged, multi-victim rape.  (more...)

News editor fired for criticizing ‘gay Bible’, files complaint

The former editor-in-chief of Iowa’s Newton Daily News has filed a religious discrimination complaint after he was fired over a post on his private blog criticizing the pro-gay Queen James Bible.

The Bible revision was produced by homosexual activists who claim to have edited the eight most commonly cited verses against homosexual behavior “in a way that makes homophobic interpretations impossible.”

On his private blog, which has since been deactivated, Bob Eschliman wrote in April that “the LGBTQXYZ crowd and the Gaystapo” are trying to reword the Bible “to make their sinful nature ‘right with God.’”

After public outcry from homosexual activists, Shaw Media, which owns the paper, fired him on May 6.  (more...)

LGBT job fair tweaks registration process to prevent 'offensive' straight kids from attending

When it comes to finding a job after graduation, business students are throwing their sexual orientation into the mix as well.

Reaching Out MBA, an annual conference of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender graduate business students, completes its three-day lineup of speakers and workshops with a job fair—a job fair that is becoming increasingly exclusive.

According to Matt Kidd, executive director of Reaching Out MBA, 10 percent of the 1,100 attendees at last year’s conference identified as straight. Because of that, this year attendees are now required to submit an essay on why they wish to attend the conference or be recommended through campus LGBT organizations so that the conference can vet potential attendees.

Kidd told Bloomberg Businessweek that the conference wasn’t trying to exclude LGBT-allies and also recognized that several conference attendees come from large, southern MBA programs where the LGBT students may not feel as readily accepted and may not be as readily apt to divulge their sexual preference.

But Kidd said that the straight students attending the job fair were “offensive” as LGBT-identifying students overheard things such as “Dude, I’m not gay” or “There needs to be less focus on gay stuff at this event.”  (more...)

Truth to Power: Lear, Cordelia & the Cross

Since I first read King Lear as an undergraduate nearly 50 years ago, I have never doubted that it is the supreme achievement in English literature.  It would be difficult to name two 20th century writers more dissimilar than George Bernard Shaw and Malcolm Muggeridge, yet both reached this same conclusion.  According to a Shakespeare bibliography I consulted, about 2,000 books have been published on King Lear since I first read the play.  I first saw Lear acted on the stage at the Stratford Festival (with John Colicos as Lear) half a century ago.  I have seen it staged more than a dozen times since, one of the most memorable being a no-intermission version at the Old Vic in London, England, with a broken-down comedic actor, Donald Sinden, as Lear.  The most compelling stage Lear, I would say, is William Hutt, whom I was fortunate to see play the role as a young man, a middle-aged man, and an old man.  I also twice saw William Hutt play the Fool to Peter Ustinov's eccentric but unforgettable Lear.  So it is a pleasure and a challenge to discuss with the Wrinklings this towering work of genius.

The Wrinklings are a specifically Christian reading group; therefore, I will direct my comments to Christian themes, without definitively answering the oft-put question, is King Lear a Christian play?  The play, written between 1603 and 1605, is based on the legend of King Leir, a mythological Celtic king.  (more...)

TDSB: It gets worse...er, better...no, worse actually

J Wallace, an equity adviser of the TDSB's gender violence prevention office, has a list of recommended books on his website.  These books include cross-dressing and sex-change books geared towards elementary school children.

Now it turns out that J Wallace's spouse, S. Bear Bergman, is crowd-funding to produce more LGBT books for kids.  The Kickstarter.com page at which people can donate to the project includes a letter directed at "parents, teachers, librarians and caregivers."  The fact that they are hoping teachers will buy this book - and the fact that J Wallace is a TDSB employee - makes it not unlikely that many of these books, if produced, will make their way into elementary school classrooms across Toronto.  In fact, in the fundraising video, Bergman explains his project by saying, "this is a subscription service that'll last a year, and every other month your school, or your house, or your library, or your organization will receive another lesbian or gay or bi or trans or gender-independent-themed picture book delivered right to you."  So it's clear they want these books in schools.

It gets worse.  (more...)

Bestiality brothels are 'spreading through Germany'

Bestiality brothels are spreading through Germany faster than ever thanks to a law that makes animal porn illegal but sex with animals legal, a livestock protection officer has warned.

Madeleine Martin told the Frankfurter Rundschau that current laws were not protecting animals from predatory zoophiles who are increasingly able to turn to bestiality as a 'lifestyle choice'.

She highlighted one case where a farmer in the Gross-Gerau region of southwest Germany, noticed his once friendly flock of sheep were beginning to shy away from human contact.

So he rigged a CCTV camera in the rafters of his barn to discover multiple men sneaking in during the night to sexually abuse his beloved livestock.

'There are now animal brothels in Germany,' Martin told the paper, adding that people were playing down the issue by by describing it as a 'lifestyle choice'.  (more...)

Same-Sex Attraction the Universal Desires of the Human Heart

On the face of it, the newly-released film, Desire of the Everlasting Hills, has a typical plot. A man is looking for a soul mate to fulfill him, and then the soul mate is found—but something is missing: God. St. Augustine could relate.

What makes “Desire of the Everlasting Hills” different is that the one-hour-long film features three individuals with same-sex attraction—the people our culture tells us are fulfilled in their lifestyle, cannot change, don’t want to change, and so forth. But the movie reveals that they, like St. Augustine, have hearts that are restless until they rest in God.

The movie was produced by the Courage Apostolate, which ministers to people with same-sex attraction who want to live by the Catholic Church’s sexual teachings.

Asked why he made this film, Fr. Paul Check, the executive director of Courage and a former Marine Corps Officer, told Catholic World Report: “When I first started working within the Courage Apostolate, I recall Fr. John Harvey, our founding executive director, saying, ‘Our best ambassadors are our members.’ In the culture that we live right now, the best way to engage people, especially on a topic of such sensitivity, complexity and of a painful nature, is through story.”  (more...)

CofE: Peter Tatchell threatens to 'out' bishops he believes are gay

Gay rights activist Peter Tatchell has put together a list of Anglican bishops he believes are in same-sex relationships and is threatening to out them publicly if they discipline homosexual clergy for marrying their partners.

The warning comes after hospital chaplain Jeremy Pemberton had his license to preach revoked last month by the acting Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham Richard Inwood after marrying his partner Laurence Cunningham earlier this year.

Mr Tatchell’s decision to compile a dossier of evidence echoes the tactic his campaign group OutRage! carried out 20 years ago when it exposed 10 Anglican bishops as being gay at the 1994 General Synod. He said his aim now, as it was then, is “self-defence” and that he wants to expose church hypocrisy and defend the homosexual community against bishops who endorse anti-gay discrimination.

Although he has not decided whether to reveal his evidence, the veteran campaigner is preparing the groundwork.

“There are names on the list already,” Mr Tatchell told The Independent  on Friday.  (more...)

Witness: Joe Boot's rebuttal of Michael Coren over homosexuality remains unanswered

This probably will be the last time that I shall post on the tragedy of Michael Coren pertaining to his dissent against the Catholic Church's teachings on homosexuality. I shall not be party to his tawdry circus, in which, as Freyr pointed out last evening on Vox Cantoris' blog, Coren seems to wish to continue raising the issue of homosexuality as some sort of ongoing headline grabbing stunt.

I can attest to the fact, as a number of persons can, that Vox Cantoris refrained from commenting; hoping - indeed praying - that his then friend, Michael Coren, (who has since cut off and denounced his former friend) would correct himself. The timeline of events, and the reaction of Michael Coren is exactly as outlined by the Vox.

Readers may wish to re-read a number of posts we (Freyr and myself) have written on this entire tragedy. I can only add that Coren's latest outburst in the Catholic Register only further confirms what we have written (c.f The Convenient Catholicism of Michael Coren).

Readers should know that Coren had a serious confrontation on Sun TV with Pastor Joe Boot over homosexuality. Following the incident, Boot wrote an article with some very, very serious questions and implications that Coren has steered clear from.  (more...)

Coroner slams mental health services for failing concert violinist who dies days after giving evidence against predatory paedophile

Frances Andrade died a week after giving evidence
A coroner has criticised mental health services for ‘failing’ to provide proper care to a concert violinist who died just a week after giving evidence against her predatory former choirmaster.

Coroner Richard Travers also demanded that new rules are put in place to ensure that vulnerable witnesses are given better support when they face often traumatic trials.

Mother-of-four Frances Andrade was ‘extremely traumatised’ after testifying about abuse she suffered as a teenager at the hands of ex-Chetham’s School of Music choirmaster Michael Brewer and his wife Kay.

She took a fatal overdose at her home in Guildford, Surrey, days later on January 24, 2013.

She did not live to see her abuser jailed for six years for five counts of indecent assault two months later.

Delivering his verdict at Woking Coroner’s Court, Mr Travers said he could not be sure she intended to kill herself and ruled out a verdict of suicide.

Brewer preyed on the young violin virtuoso at the prestigious school in Manchester, forcing her to perform sex acts on him in his office and camper van.

His ex-wife later joined in the abuse and was jailed for 21 months for one count of indecent assault.  (more...)

Elvis impersonator who once performed for Elton John jailed for child porn images

Louis Fella, 53
An Elvis impersonator who sang for Elton John posed as a 13-year-old girl to trade explicit pictures with other internet perverts.

Louis Fella, 53, was jailed for a year after being caught with more than 900 indecent pictures and films of children. Some of them were in the most serious category of child abuse images.

Fella rubbed shoulders with Sir Elton John at his famous charity White Tie & Tiara Summer Ball and has also played in front of Liam Gallagher, Tom Jones, Lulu and Shirley Bassey at Brit Award after-show parties.

The father-of-two has travelled around the world with his act under the stage name Louis Rockafella.

In 2002, record company Sony BMG snapped him up to promote the release of Elvis’s No. 1s album.

He also appeared on US talk show The Jerry Springer Show in Chicago and with other Elvises on the Weakest Link.

But the entertainer, who described himself as the UK’s best Elvis impersonator, was condemned by a judge over his internet habits.  (more...)

Netherlands: Pedophile society to appeal Supreme Court ban

Former members of the Dutch pedophile society have announced they will challenge a Supreme Court ban on their organization. They argue the prohibition of the group that advocates adult-child sexual relations is a violation of their freedom of speech.

The organization’s lawyer Gerard Spong told Dutch press on Tuesday he planned to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights to overturn the ban on the pedophile society. According to Spong the appeal will be lodged with the Court no later than October.

Former members of the pedophile society, also known as Vereniging MARTIJN, take issue with an April Supreme Court ban on the organization that decreed its existence was a threat to public order and a danger to minors. Spong argues the ban on the group is an affront to the members’ freedom of expression and association and plans to have it overturned.  (more...)

In his latest diatribe, Michael reveals how thin-skinned he really is. Whatever Happened to Christian Society? Freemasonry Happened!

Robert’s Dictionary defines the word Freemasonry thus:

"An international Association, in part secret, of a naturalist and philanthropic nature, the members of which recognize one another through certain signs or emblems."

While not being complete, this definition underlines important characteristics of Freemasonry:

  •  its ideology: naturalism;
  •  its organization: international and secret;
  •  its external aspect: often philanthropic;

The Beatles and the Dawning of a New Age

On its 50th anniversary, A Hard Days Night has been released in a newly restored digital version to universal critical acclaim. A precious cinematic artifact of social history, even a catalyst of cultural change, the first Beatles movie is now looked upon as more than just a piece of filmmaking, with its four heroes praised for their natural charm, energy and unalloyed youthful optimism.

If only it was that simple.

The Beatles came to prominence with a string of hit singles, arriving to lead a generation from the grim black-and-white post-War World era into the technicolor dream of The Sixties—or that’s how the story goes. Two men played Svengali to the phenomenon that had materialized. The band’s manager, Brian Epstein, emerged from the obscurity of suburban Liverpool to mastermind the various image changes that made the group attractive to mainstream tastes. Out went the grease and leathers of anarchic rebels, and in came the fashionably suited smiling young men. The public image of four “innocents abroad in the big city” à la A Hard Days Night was far removed from the reality of the men who had returned to England after years playing the clubs of Hamburg’s notorious Red Light district. Formed by such experiences, the Beatles’ presentation may have changed, their underlying attitudes hadn’t.  (more...)

Leaving the Matrix: what is the cost of conversion?

What do you do when you decide to leave a sexually disordered lifestyle? What do you do, when all the people you have contact with, all your friends, even your family, have accepted and embraced a way of living and thinking about life that you have realized is harmful, psychologically and morally destructive, and which you know you must leave? What is the cost of conversion?

We can easily get caught up in the tumult of the ever-escalating legal, political, and cultural war against the traditional worldview and anthropology, so much that we forget that the “issue” is about real, individual human beings and how they should, concretely, order their lives. We culture warriors must remember that what we are asking people to do is difficult, that it can incur huge sacrifice and loss and will often require enormous upheaval and change.  (more...)

English Manif: Everyone needs to keep their political agendas off the kids at the border

Consider this particular point:
4. We have to find out who was behind this trafficking. Besides being a humanitarian crisis, this is a massive crime scene. Somebody orchestrated an enormous scheme to smuggle tens of thousands of vulnerable children into a foreign country in violation of international law. We know that a large number of them have been sexually abused so we have to investigate to see if the trafficking was tied to sex work in the first place. In order to do this, the FBI, CIA, and other intelligence gathering operations need to set up shop wherever the kids are so that they can investigate. We need to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
The first thing that occurred to me, exactly.

Family of Sammy Yatim files multimillion-dollar lawsuit

Sammy Yatim's mother Sahar Bahadi adjusts a t-shirt tied to a street
post at the site where Sammy was shot by Toronto Police.
Toronto police showed “reckless disregard” for the life of 18-year-old Sammy Yatim, and used excessive and unreasonable force against a young man suffering an “acute emotional disturbance” on the night of his death, family members of the shooting victim allege in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit filed earlier this year.

The Star has learned that Sahar Bahadi, Yatim’s mother, and his sister Sarah Yatim filed a lawsuit in February against Toronto Police chief Bill Blair, the Toronto Police Services Board, two unnamed police officers and Const. James Forcillo, who is currently facing a second-degree murder charge for Yatim’s death.

Blasting what it calls “high-handed, shocking, contemptuous conduct of the defendants,” the suit — prepared by prominent Toronto lawyer Julian Falconer — alleges malice, negligence, incompetence and more.

Yatim’s relatives are suing for damages in excess of eight million dollars, and claim they are suffering anxiety, depression, and physical and psychological conditions.

“The force used upon Sammy was not justifiable at law. The force applied was excessive and unreasonable…,” reads the statement of claim.  (more...)

Paedophile Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins loses bid to appeal his 29-year sentence

Former Lostprophets singer and convicted paedophile Ian Watkins has had his appeal bid against his sentence turned down, despite arguing his sex crimes were 'not the worst'.

The 37-year-old singer's defence lawyer had told Court of Appeal judges sitting at Cardiff Crown Court that Watkins had been unfairly treated when he was given a 29 year jail term.

The 13 sex offences he pleaded guilty to last November included the attempted rape of an 11-month old child as well as encouraging a fan to abuse her baby via webcam.

Police also found a stash of child porn videos - some of which he had made himself.

Originally, Watkins had pleaded his innocence to a string of offences - despite a damning video evidence.

He changed his plea at the last minute - averting a trial - but then complained he had not realised that his guilty plea had made him 'look guilty'.  (more...)

Paedophile MPs are mocking British law

INSIDIOUS: Parliament is ‘encircled by paedophile rings’ influencing our society
To recap: Labour Party members Harriet Harman, her husband Jack Dromey and their  colleague Patricia Hewitt have been at  the centre of a media frenzy for their alleged links to the Paedophile Information Exchange, which campaigned to legalise sex with children in the Seventies.

Naturally, I found their reported connections to PIE disturbing when I first happened upon this information, which is why I wrote about it in the Sunday Express last May.

The reason I did, and why I will now return to the subject, is simple.

In October 2012, MP Tom Watson stood up in the Commons and addressed the Prime Minister. He told David Cameron that he had become aware of rumours of paedophile rings which “encircled parliament” and had done so for decades and he then asked for this to be investigated.

The Prime Minister agreed and Operation Fairbank (later evolving into Operation Fernbridge) was duly launched.

Since Mr Watson’s pronouncement, we have witnessed the arrest of a Catholic priest, two unnamed workers associated with a children’s care home and a sorry display of Seventies light entertainers and present-day soap stars who have been paraded before the public and the courts to answer varying charges of abuse from paedophilia to groping.

Most of the charges have been dismissed due to lack of evidence that comes when reporting historic abuse. There have been scant convictions save for the former TV presenter Stuart Hall.

However what we have failed to see, and they have been glaring by omission, are any arrests pertaining to parliamentary paedophiles.  (more...)

Gay-Jacked

The culture has been gay-jacked and the Church is the target.

Let us arise and go home

A few days ago, Stratford Caldecott, the wisest writer on education in our time, passed away at the all too early age of sixty. He had written many books, on a wide range of things: on the theological imagination of Tolkien; on the liturgy; on the cosmos; on charity; and on beauty, especially as regards a truly liberal education.

It's time for us to return home, and Stratford Caldecott can show us the way. But first we must understand that we are in a very strange land, and we can no more “apply” the wisdom of Mr. Caldecott to the schooling we have, than we can put icing on mud and call it cake.

Our schooling is ghastly. We must face this fact. At its least inhuman, it is crassly utilitarian, and inept to boot. But it has grown worse than utilitarian.  (more...)

Our Hearts are Restless

I have just watched an extraordinary and deeply moving film, soon to be released by the Catholic apostolate Courage, called Desire of the Everlasting Hills. It is knit together, like a polychronic chorale, from the personal witnesses of three people, two men and one woman, who have come out of a life of sexual sin and into the wonderful light of Christ. By “wonderful” I do not suggest breathless good cheer and drinks all around. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. When Peter, James, and John saw the transfigured Lord, they did not first glow with gregarious good fellowship. They were struck with awe and fear; and that deep feeling, that sense that in the quiet of the human conscience the Lord has wrought something like a world ransomed, or a world destroyed, will be well imparted to the faithful Christian who views this film.

The particular form of sexual sin to which these three people fell prey was homosexual in nature. In one or two respects, the form is significant. The most obvious attack on the castles of the home, the community, and the church happens now to be coming from that quarter; and the people in the film experienced from the sin certain kinds of confusion and suffering that the rest of us sinners may find hard to imagine.  (more...)

North Carolina cops bust daycare center that was really child porn ring

Instead, Mills ran a child pornography ring out of the suburban home, where he and four others sexually abused juveniles and children.  (more...)

Ministry of education, public health, teacher’s union push graphic sex-ed agenda in Nova Scotia

The Nova Scotia government and teachers union play a big role in the promotion of sex and homosexuality education, and these sensitive topics are being taught throughout the elementary school curriculum.

According to the N.S. Ministry of Education’s Learning Outcomes Framework, Grade 1 students are to “explore the concept of gender.” In Grade 4, they learn to “differentiate between gender roles and gender identity.” Fifth graders must “demonstrate an understanding that sexual orientation is a part of our personality and explore the harmful effects of homophobia.” In Grade 7, students learn to distinguish between sexual orientation and gender identity. Eighth graders “examine the media portrayal of sexual orientation.”

In the 2003 health curriculum for Grades 4 to 6, fifth grade teachers giving lessons on puberty are warned, “when discussing reproduction, be aware that gender stereotypes have often coloured descriptions of the fertilization process. The egg is depicted as passive and fragile; the sperm as aggressive and heroic.” Also in Grade 5, the prevention of sexually transmitted infections is discussed within the context of a sexual relationship. Students are informed that having sex without a condom may lead to HIV. Sixth graders “identify the consequences for the level of risk” of “activities” that include “touching the genitals of a partner,” “masturbation,” and “oral sex.”  (more...)

Take No Pride In Sin

Today the "Pride" Parade took place in our fair city of St. John's, NL.

See my Twitterfeed (simply glance at the column to the right of this posting) for my remarks throughout the afternoon on the disgraceful event. The parade was the culmination of one full week of "Pride" celebrations, launched with a flag raising on Monday past from both Confederation Hill by our provincial government Justice Minister, as well as from City Hall by our mayor and Councillors. The Telegram captured the "celebratory feel" of the event in their article earlier this week.

Think about it, a very high profile public celebration of sodomy and gender bending winding its way slowly through the streets of St. John's and nary a word of protest from Christian ministers and churches.  (more...)

The Failures of America’s Foster Care System

I worked with the largest county children’s welfare services in America for more than a quarter century. For several decades as a licensed therapist in Los Angeles County, I provided mandated therapy to both children as well as young adults were aging out of the child welfare system. Over the years I made countless trips to LA County Children’s Court representing dozens of children and families as my clients.

My decades of firsthand mental health experience saw the destructive inside machinations of a corrupt, overloaded, thoroughly broken foster care system do more damage than good to children and families with whom I closely worked. Like all institutions in America, the child welfare system is just another corrosive, morally bankrupt, oppressive mechanism by which to control the poorest people in this country, acting as a national conduit pipeline to prison, substance abuse, human trafficking, homelessness, mental illness and early death.

Though each county child protective services department in the United States operates under a separate budget funded by individual county, state and federal mental health source dollars, the child welfare system in this country is so overburdened and systemically flawed, it has been failing our kids miserably for a long time now. We all hear about the horror stories of murdered children in the foster care system who fell through the cracks. High profile cases exposing the tragic fate of young people trapped in a system that fails to protect them are far too common. They are written about extensively in newspapers all the time. But the American public rarely is privy to the inner workings of a system gone bad from the firsthand perspective of an insider who worked within that failed system for decades.  (more...)

Please Don't Take My Child (Forced Adoption Exposed)

For the first time, leading social workers, barristers, a High Court judge and families torn apart by the process, talk about the subject of forced adoption.

"It is a climate of fear, a climate where people cover their backs, a climate where people want to try and do their best by families but also know that they've got to ...play this game safe, safe for them as an organisation, safe for them as a worker - not just safe for the child." - Bridget Robb, chief executive of the British Association of Social Workers

This new documentary in ITV's flagship Exposure current affairs strand investigates how and why social workers are increasingly prepared to remove children from their birth parents through forced adoption.

The number of court orders required to place a child into the adoption process has increased by 95 per cent in the last three years and new laws introduced this year are likely to lead to a further increase in the number of such cases. Yet in most instances, the stories remain untold because family court hearings remain shrouded in secrecy, with journalists unable to report anything from proceedings.

From womb to tomb: Child slavery and US courts

In this ongoing exclusive report for Press TV, the previous examples of Ruby Dillon and her daughter Lexi have show that Child Protective Services (CPS) has no interest in “protection” of children. Its sole motivation is personal profit.

No child is safe.

Down the road in San Diego County a young boy is missing, taken by a man who is not the father, not even a parent. Innocent mother Tammy Rief, who is from Georgia and has never lived in California, now sits in a California prison. Despite an Alabama court order keeping the kidnapper away from her child, and another court order giving Tammy, the mother, full custody, a California judge abused his court to steal her son, Jonah, from his home in Georgia and give him to a man documented to have abused her son.

Without Tammy Rief’s knowledge Judge Gregory W. Pollack was working in far away California with the kidnapper, Brian Sullivan, to have the FBI steal her and her son from Georgia.  (more...)

Child Porn Bust Provides Insight Into Gay Adoption

Robert Revay 79, of Oakland Park
You can’t support homosexual marriage without supporting homosexual adoption. You can’t support homosexual adoption without supporting the activities of folks like Robert Revay:
A 79-year-old Oakland Park [Florida] man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison Thursday for his role in a notorious international group of pedophiles who filmed themselves sexually abusing young children and then trafficked the child pornography online.
Robert Revay, who first served prison time for sexually abusing a child in the 1970s, admitted that he was part of an conspiracy to produce child pornography.
In court records, federal prosecutors said that he sexually abused a 12-year-old boy multiple times in Maryland during a six-month period in 1997.
Revay also encouraged another member of the ring — Peter Truong — to sexually abuse the same boy in assaults that were filmed at the Germantown home that Revay and Truong shared at the time, prosecutors said.
The name Peter Truong may sound familiar in the context of gays making little boys into sex slaves. He and his “partner” Mark Newton adopted a Russian baby. In accordance with the gay custom of wanton promiscuity that is the cause of the rapid spread of AIDS, at least eight men raped the boy between the ages of 2 and 6. Sexual abuse began at age 22 months or younger.  (more...)

The Hookup Culture is Nothing New: Esther Rantzen

Stupid enough to share a bed with this
Esther Rantzen has spoken of her revulsion after learning that a former lover has been linked to the child abuse scandal threatening to engulf Westminster.

The broadcaster and Childline founder had an affair with politician Sir Nicholas Fairbairn after they met at a BBC studio in 1966.

But Ms Rantzen has now distanced herself from the late Conservative MP and Solicitor General for Scotland – who died in 1995, aged 61.

Evidence has come to light suggesting he may have visited a London guest house where children from care homes were allegedly assaulted by high-profile visitors.

Miss Rantzen, 74, played a leading role in uncovering child abuse during the 1980s.

She said: ‘I am horrified and disgusted by these allegations because Nicky was a friend of mine.

‘I had a very brief relationship with him. I always assumed that he was attracted to adult women rather than children.'  (more...)

Chilling day Special Branch swooped to seize ANOTHER dossier on VIP abusers

Journalist Don Hale, the young editor of the Bury
Messenger in 1984,  was silenced by an official
government order.
The knock on the door came early one day in the famously dry summer of 1984. It was just after 8 am, and Don Hale, the young editor of the Bury Messenger, was reading the daily papers at his desk as his reporters were beginning to arrive at the office.

As Hale, then 31, answered the door, a trio of plain-clothes detectives barged in, followed by a dozen police officers in uniform.

What happened next was, in Hale’s words, ‘like something out of totalitarian East Germany rather than Margaret Thatcher’s supposedly free Britain’.

The detectives identified themselves as Special Branch, the division of the police responsible for matters of national security.

‘They began to flash warrant cards and bark questions,’ says Hale. ‘It was as if they were interviewing a potential criminal rather than a law-abiding newspaper man.

‘The officers told me that I should abandon plans to print a story that was scheduled to run in our next edition. If I didn’t, they told me to expect a long jail sentence.’

Initially bewildered by their threatening tone, Hale soon worked out the purpose of the police visit.
The focus of their attention was an incendiary dossier he had been handed a few days earlier by long-serving Labour politician Barbara Castle. A powerful feminist and stalwart of the traditional Left, who served in Harold Wilson’s Cabinet, she was for years the MP for nearby Blackburn.

One of her lifelong interests, as a principled advocate for the vulnerable and powerless, was child protection. To that end, she had become concerned at the rising influence of the paedophile lobby, which was then infiltrating the political Establishment, developing links with senior public figures, including MPs, peers, civil servants and police officers.

Mrs Castle was particularly alarmed, Hale recalls, about the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE), which had become officially ‘affiliated’ with the influential National Council for Civil Liberties, run by future Labour frontbenchers Harriet Harman, Patricia Hewitt and Jack Dromey.  (more...)

Nova Scotia Teachers Union affirms homosexuality

The Nova Scotia Teachers Union's Equity Committee Liaison Handbook makes it clear that teachers must affirm and accommodate homosexuality. Teachers have no choice but to accept and support this societal change.

Should any teacher back the traditional family and marriage between a man and a woman, they will no doubt face discrimination. This is because the guidelines make it clear that teachers are mandated to eliminate "homophobia" and "heterosexism." The guideline states, "Educators have a responsibility for the elimination of homophobia and heterosexism in the working and learning environment." In other words, parents and teachers cannot disagree or question homosexuality. Is this education or indoctrination?

Teachers are not permitted to even counsel students about their "sexual orientation." Here's how the guidelines put it, "sexual minority students must have the right to counselling that is supportive, affirming and free from efforts on the part of counsellors to change their sexual orientation and/or identity through the use of or the referral to aversion, reparative, or conversion therapies." Note how the positive sounding expression "sexual minority students" that's used for those students that claim to be homosexuals. Teachers and parents who don't support this view are prejudiced and in need of "re-education" programs. In plain English, teachers must accept homosexuality or face the consequences socially and professionally. And no teacher should even think of counselling any students away from homosexuality. What gives the teachers the moral authority to know and think that they are the ones who are correct on this? What has happened to parental rights? Where is the freedom of speech and religion?  (more...)

The Gender Confusion Challenge to Army Recruitment

One thing that you can say for ISIS, the Middle-East terrorist army, is that it doesn’t have a recruitment problem. Young men are streaming to Syria and Iraq from all over the world to join the cause. And they come not just from the Muslim world, but also from England, France, Sweden, Australia, and the U.S.

Perhaps hoping to put a dent in the appeal of ISIS, some Western newspapers have made much of the expensive stolen watch visible on the wrist of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during his first public appearance at the Grand Mosque in Mosul. According to several articles, this proved that al-Baghdadi was a hypocrite because such a show of stolen worldly possessions is contrary to the spiritual nature of Islam.

As usual, the mainstream media is all wrong about Islam. In FrontPage Magazine, Daniel Greenfield points out that “looting was the core of Muhammad’s conquests.” And it came with Allah’s seal of approval. Numerous passages in the Koran and in the biography of Muhammad attest to the legitimacy of booty as the proper reward of fighting. Islam has no trouble with looting, says Greenfield, because it is “innately a gang religion”  (more...)
