Stuckless victim questions court's definition of violence

TORONTO -- Gordon Stuckless performed a sex act on a Grade 8 Thornhill student before attempting to continue the sexual assault on him, the convicted sex predator’s trial heard Thursday.

Stuckless was working as a teacher’s assistant supervising a dozen students -- including this victim, whose identity is protected by a publication ban -- who were branded with behaviourial problems at Baythorne Public School in 1979-80, Justice Mara Greene heard.

He has taken responsibility for sexually assaulting this victim, then age 13, and 17 other underage boys when he pleaded guilty last month to 100 allegations of sex crimes committed from 1965 through 1985.

But he is pleading not guilty to eight other charges because he denies committing any acts of violence.  (more...)
